Noritz NRCP Eco TOUGH error codes
The second generation of Noritz's recirculating condensing heater, and one character apart from the first in the model number: NRCP1112-DV, not NRCP111-DV. The code list is close to the earlier one and not identical, so the character matters. Noritz dropped Er46 and folded low recirculation flow into Er44, which it renamed from "possible pump failure" to "recirculation abnormality"; it added Er42 for a loose jumper; and it added something the first generation's table does not have at all — a **How to Reset** column saying, for every code, whether the unit clears it by itself or waits for you. Three codes here also open with an instruction the earlier manual never gives: turn the water heater off for at least thirty minutes before restarting it.
