Hot water temperature abnormality. The outlet temperature has gone past what the unit allows. This generation gives two thresholds where the first gives one: over 167 °F with the set temperature between 100 and 120 °F, and over 176 °F with the set temperature between 125 and 140 °F. Noritz also names two causes the earlier manual does not — the pump having failed, and the recirculation setting being wrong. Manual reset.
