Rinnai SENSEI RX Code 52
Gas valve fault. The PC board is not seeing the gas valve solenoid behave as it should. Rinnai's checks on the SENSEI RX start with the flame rod and its wiring, then the gas solenoid harness, then voltage at connector CN9 on the board while the unit tries to fire. If the gas valve and venturi assembly are replaced, the heater needs a documented button sequence on the PC board before it will return to normal operation.
