Noritz NR50, NR66 & NR71 Code 760
Remote controller communication fault. The remote controller and the circuit board have lost contact. Noritz checks the connection between them and looks for damage to either, and notes that this code is not mentioned in the manual's flowchart. It has no flash-count equivalent for the obvious reason: it can only appear when a controller is fitted.

Usually the cable run between the controller and the unit rather than either end of it. The heater is fine; what you have lost is the ability to set it — which on this range also means losing the ability to read codes as numbers.
