Noritz EZ Series & NCC199CDV Code 61
Fan motor fault. The combustion fan is not turning as expected. Noritz checks that the fan rotates, reads the pulse frequency from the fan's rotational frequency sensor, checks for an improper connection, and measures the voltage from the circuit board. The fan on this range answers to two high limit switches rather than one — code 20 on the primary heat exchanger and code 21 in the burner chamber — and Noritz pulls both into the code 71 diagnosis. A fan fault here sits inside a tighter safety envelope than on the older ranges.
