This is the recirculation pump built into the cabinet. The second generation renames the same number to "recirculation abnormality" and gives it three remedies instead of one, so a page written for an NRCP1112 or NRCP982 is describing a broader fault than this.

It will not. Noritz changed this code between generations: on the NRCP111 and NRCP98 it is "possible pump failure" with one remedy, and on the NRCP1112 and NRCP982 Eco TOUGH it is "recirculation abnormality" covering the return line filter, the recirculation setting and the pump.
